Lawn Enhancements
A healthy, well-defined lawn sets the foundation for everything else in your landscape. These services address common lawn problems and give your yard clean, polished edges.
-
Lawn Repair
Patchy or brown areas in your lawn don't have to stay that way. Our Lawn Repair service targets problem spots using quality grass seed and proven techniques to restore a uniform, healthy appearance.
What to expect:
✔ Assessment of affected areas before any seed is applied
✔ Selection of grass seed matched to your existing lawn type
✔ Prep work including aeration or dethatching where needed
✔ Post-service care instructions to help new growth establish
-
Edging Install (Metal & Natural)
Clean edges between your lawn and garden beds make a dramatic difference in how polished your yard looks. We offer both metal and natural edging options depending on your aesthetic and budget.
✔ Metal edging: durable, long-lasting, and low maintenance
✔ Natural edging: organic look that blends seamlessly with soft landscaping
✔ Both options cleanly separate lawn from beds to reduce grass encroachment
-
Fence Post Protector
Soil moisture is the primary cause of fence post rot. Our Fence Post Protector service applies a protective barrier at the soil line — the most vulnerable point — to significantly extend the life of your posts without changing their appearance.
✔ Best applied to new posts at installation, but also effective on existing posts
✔ Works on wood posts of all sizes
Tree Enhancements
Trees add significant value to your property, but they require the right care to stay healthy and safe. Our certified team handles everything from new plantings to full removals.
-
Tree Planting
Choosing the right tree for your space involves more than picking one you like. Our team considers your soil type, sun exposure, existing landscape, and long-term growth to recommend species that will thrive in your specific yard.
✔ We source healthy, locally appropriate trees
✔ Proper planting depth and soil preparation are included
✔ Aftercare guidance is provided so your investment gets established correctly
-
Tree Pruning
Regular pruning keeps trees structurally sound, encourages healthy growth, and improves their overall appearance. Our arborists follow industry-standard techniques to prune safely without damaging the tree.
✔ Removes dead, crossing, or hazardous branches
✔ Promotes airflow and light penetration through the canopy
✔ Timing is planned around the species and season for best results
-
Tree Removal
Sometimes a tree needs to come down — whether it's dead, diseased, structurally compromised, or simply in the wrong spot. Our crew uses professional equipment to remove trees of all sizes with minimal disruption to the surrounding landscape.
✔ Full removal including cleanup of debris
✔ Stump grinding available as an add-on or separate service
✔ We take precautions to protect structures, fences, and adjacent plants
-
Stump Grind
A leftover stump is a tripping hazard and an eyesore. Stump grinding reduces it below ground level, turning it into mulch that can be raked away or used in your beds. Your lawn is then ready to be seeded or sodded over.
✔ Grinds to approximately 6–8 inches below the soil surface
✔ Resulting wood chips can be left as fill or removed
✔ Area is ready for replanting or lawn restoration after grinding
Bed Enhancements
Well-designed planting beds improve the structure of your landscape, reduce maintenance, and give your plants the best possible growing conditions. We offer several options depending on your goals.
-
New Beds
Installing a new bed involves more than digging a hole. We design beds that complement your home's architecture and existing landscape, then prepare the soil properly so plants have what they need from day one.
✔ Custom bed shapes designed around your space
✔ Includes edging to define and protect the bed perimeter
✔ Soil amendment and grading included in the installation
-
Mulch Install
Mulch is one of the highest-value things you can add to a planting bed. A proper application insulates roots, retains moisture, suppresses weeds, and gives the bed a finished, consistent look.
✔ Typically applied at 2–3 inches depth for optimal benefit
✔ Available in a range of colors and textures to match your landscape
✔ Annual reapplication is recommended as mulch breaks down over time
-
Rock Install
Decorative rock provides a low-maintenance, long-lasting alternative to mulch in certain areas — particularly around driveways, foundations, and accent zones. We source a variety of stone types and sizes.
✔ Works well in high-heat areas where organic mulch degrades quickly
✔ Pairs effectively with landscape fabric to minimize weeds
✔ Available in river rock, crushed stone, and other options
-
Fabric Replacement
Landscape fabric that was installed years ago often becomes less effective as it ages, tears, or becomes covered with soil and organic debris. Replacing it restores weed suppression while still allowing water and nutrients to reach your plants.
✔ Old fabric is fully removed before new material is installed
✔ Slits are cut around existing plants for a clean fit
✔ Best paired with a fresh layer of mulch or rock for maximum effectiveness
-
Breeze Install
Breeze (or decomposed granite) pathways and surfaces create a clean, low-maintenance look that works well in high-traffic areas, side yards, and naturalistic garden designs. It compacts firmly underfoot while still allowing drainage.
✔ Ideal for pathways, patios, and spaces where grass won't grow well
✔ Requires edging or a border to contain the material
✔ Available in several natural tones
Planting Enhancements
The right plants in the right places bring color, texture, and life to your landscape. Our horticulture team helps you choose species suited to your local climate, soil, and sun conditions.
-
Annual Planting
Annuals complete their full life cycle in one growing season, which means they deliver intense, season-long color and can be swapped out each year for a fresh look. They're ideal for containers, entryways, and high-visibility beds.
✔ Spring and fall planting schedules available
✔ We help you select varieties suited to your sun exposure and color preferences
✔ Can be combined with perennials for layered, multi-season interest
-
Shrub & Perennial Planting
Unlike annuals, shrubs and perennials return year after year — making them a long-term investment in your landscape. Perennials change with the seasons, while shrubs provide structure and privacy throughout the year.
✔ Selection is based on your hardiness zone, sun exposure, and soil type
✔ Many native options available that require less water and maintenance once established
✔ Proper spacing is planned upfront to account for mature plant sizes
